As President of Murn Development and Managing Partner of Murn Management, Chris Murn has more than 20 years of experience in the real estate industry. Prior to launching Murn Management, Chris led the growth of Murn Development, providing strategic leadership for and the successful development of over 1,300 Class-A multi-family apartment homes throughout Maryland valued conservatively at $300 million. In addition, Chris actively works on land development of for sale single family homes. Previously, he worked as a Land Acquisitions Manager for Greenbelt-based, The Bozzuto Group, overseeing the development of six, award-winning townhome and apartment projects in just four years. Chris also worked as an Assistant Director of acquisitions and development for Tristar Management/JHP Development in Baltimore.
Keith Gillan brings a wealth of real estate development and property management experience to Murn Management. Keith worked in a number of roles during his 17+ years at The Bozzuto Group. At the apex of his career as Senior Vice President, Keith was responsible for approximately 50 existing apartment and mixed use communities in Pennsylvania and Maryland consisting of nearly 13,000 apartment homes. Keith assumed accountability for each project, including financial performance, client and owner relations and brand alignment. In addition, Keith was responsible for assisting with business development and pre-development Advisory Services in the Maryland and Pennsylvania markets. Keith’s professional affiliations include the Maryland Multi-Housing Association where he serves as the 2017 Vice President, Urban Land Institute, BRAC Business Initiative, and Project Management Institute.
As Senior Vice President of Murn Management, Megan Pugh brings 15 years of portfolio management expertise with class-A properties. Megan’s experiences include both stabilized asset management, as well as overseeing the execution of lease-up projects in urban and suburban markets in the Baltimore-Washington corridor. Megan built her career at The Bozzuto Group where she worked in multiple capacities, including on-site management and operations, corporate level Marketing Manager, and a Regional Portfolio Manager overseeing approximately 2,500 apartment homes. Throughout her career, Megan was instrumental in the success of all aspects of the property management ecosystem within her portfolio, from predevelopment and renovations to marketing, mixed use, and lease-up. Her proven track record of building exceptional management teams helped earn her projects numerous industry accolades.
