Dino Gavin joined Murn in 2025 as Chief Financial Officer, overseeing all finance and accounting operations across the company’s real estate management, acquisitions, and development divisions. He leads strategic financial planning, capital structuring, and investment analysis to support Murn’s long-term growth, while managing a diverse portfolio of debt and equity relationships. In collaboration with executive leadership, Dino drives profitability, strengthens banking and investor partnerships, and ensures sound fiscal management across all Murn entities.

Before joining Murn, Dino built a strong foundation in public accounting and real estate finance. He began his career in KPMG’s audit practice, where he spent six years advancing to the role of Manager and gained extensive experience working with complex financial institutions. He later spent nearly two decades at the regional accounting firm GWLM, specializing in financial reporting, tax strategy, and advisory services with a focus on real estate development and management companies.

Dino holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Salisbury University and a Master of Business Administration from Loyola University Maryland. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the State of Maryland.

Patrick Butler

Patrick Butler joined Murn in 2021 as Director of Operations for the property management division and quickly advanced to the role of Senior Vice President in 2022, where he oversaw all aspects of Murn’s operational performance. In 2025, Patrick was promoted to President of Murn Management, where he continues to lead with a focus on operational excellence, financial performance, and strategic growth across the company’s expanding management portfolio.

With more than 20 years of experience in financial and portfolio management of Class-A properties throughout the DMV region, Patrick brings a deep understanding of the multifamily industry and a proven record of leadership. Prior to joining Murn, he served as Regional Vice President for a national property management firm, overseeing the Baltimore metro area and a portfolio exceeding 5,000 apartment homes. He also provided strategic advisory services on new development projects for third-party clients.

Patrick remains an active leader within the real estate community, maintaining professional affiliations with the Maryland Multi-Housing Association—where he served as President in 2020—the Urban Land Institute, and the Property Management Association of Maryland.

Harry Murn

Harry joined Murn in 2021 to oversee investments and acquisitions while spearheading strategic partnership initiatives. Harry meticulously analyzes market trends, evaluates potential acquisitions, and negotiates key deals that expand the company’s portfolio. He is also instrumental in forging alliances with industry leaders, ensuring that each partnership aligns with and strengthens the company’s long-term vision for sustained growth and innovation.

Before joining Murn, Harry had a distinguished 25-year career on Wall Street, where he excelled as an executive in the Equities trading department. His extensive experience in high-stakes financial environments has equipped him with a deep understanding of market dynamics and investment strategies.

Keith Gillan

Keith joined Murn in 2016 to launch and lead the Property Management division, where he has been instrumental in driving its expansion. Under his guidance, the division has grown to manage nearly 10,000 apartment homes, reflecting his expertise in scaling operations and enhancing service quality.

In his current role as Chief Operating Officer, Keith is pivotal in shaping the company’s visionary direction and overseeing day-to-day operations. He is responsible for the organization’s growth, including managing client and investor relations, ensuring robust financial performance, and providing comprehensive oversight. Keith collaborates closely with Chris Murn to align operational activities with the company’s broader objectives.

Keith has built a distinguished career with over 25 years of experience in commercial real estate. Prior to joining Murn, he was a Senior Vice President at a leading national property management company, where he managed more than 50 apartment and mixed-use communities across Pennsylvania and Maryland. Keith is a respected leader in the real estate community, with notable professional affiliations including the Maryland Multi-Housing Association, where he served as President in 2018, the Urban Land Institute, the BRAC Business Initiative, and the Project Management Institute.

Chris Murn

Chris Murn founded Murn Development in 2004, where he served as the visionary leader behind the company’s impressive growth and success. In 2016, Murn Development evolved to become Murn, which has since complemented its Development services with Property Management, Acquisitions and Construction expertise. Under Chris’ strategic guidance, Murn has delivered over 3,000 Class-A multifamily apartment homes across Maryland, with a collective value exceeding $1 billion.

Chris’ leadership extends beyond multifamily housing, as he continues to drive significant projects in the land development sector, focusing on high-end single-family homes and townhomes. In his role as CEO, Chris is responsible for the company’s strategic planning, overseeing the development and implementation of both long- and short-term strategies. He ensures the company balances profits, costs, and opportunities, while navigating new products, markets, and potential risks.

Prior to establishing Murn Development, Chris distinguished himself as the Land Acquisition Manager for a leading national firm, where he was instrumental in the creation of award-winning townhome and apartment communities. With over 25 years of industry experience, Chris is recognized as a preeminent leader in real estate, known for his strategic decision-making, effective communication with stakeholders, and commitment to operational excellence.
